This page is to objectively assist visitors in the selection of accreditation and/or registration - certification body (or registrar; conformity assessment - certification bodies list) to help businesses
and governments to objectively and impartially achieve and maintain recognition of competence, namely certification of official management system. Selection of certification body is critical when an
organization voluntarily opts for certification. When certification is forced or compulsory selection is simpler because your organization need to select the specific certification body imposed upon or a
given guild. Please note that we do not endorse any one specific accreditation entity providing services, certification - registration body or any subsidiary (namely registrar). And impartiality is
regardless whether they sponsor us. This is an objective informative site and upon requesting assistance we will act on the following criterion, our policy is to recommend three (3) certification
bodies or accreditation entities. Also, visit our page on changing the Registrar
For inclusion to our listing of certification bodies - registration bodies must meet the following criteria: Customer Satisfaction - We have verified with client / customers, through either personal contact or phone conversation, level of satisfaction given prior to, during and throughout certification - registration. Also we verify that audit teams meet the requirements set forth by the specific management system on the basis of legal obligations, regulatory requirements in applying benchmarks including ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 27006, ISO/TS 22003 and others. We also verify competence regardless of claims of "internationally" jargon as well generally accepted to conduct assessment - audits in adhering to consumer - centric expectations. Ethics - We have verified for issues or practices to assure acceptable ethics with integrity and the purpose to certify. This means that their specific protocols carry and assure a valuable purpose to the end-customer. These includes that certificate through registration bodies, such as: (a) performing audits with no competence, including auditors in training under billing; (b) while permitted by available information we consider conflict of interest, the issue of providing consulting, in-house training, administration of the in-house program, and combination of previous in a "package" to the same organization to which registration - certification is granted we consider conflict of interest, unethical and amoral; (c) conducting an excessive number of audits within a period of 12 months [as ethics code dictates and is construe as consulting, the reasonable limit and expectation is three (3) annum] as a mean to increase unethical billing, and (d) creation of compulsory schemes to create a business need by propitiating compulsory consulting and certification. Note: If your organization provides certification and consulting as well in-house training and advice, please do need not request inclusion to the list of recommended certification - registration bodies and registrars, regardless if accreditation has officially been granted with combination of consulting and certification. This is regardless if your certification body is in compulsory listing of forced to choose. Following reasonable expectations under "accreditation" requirements and scheme The based criteria of operations that we consider are first legal obligations and regulatory requirements; e.g. 21 CFR Part 110 (cGMP), 21 CFR Part 120 (HACCP)... Further, we recognize benchmarks such as ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/TS 22003, ISO/IEC 27006 and other that relate to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17024:2003, ISO/IEC 17025, and ISO 15189. While accreditation is not an imperative requirement in providing conformity assessment or certification, accreditation with ethics bearing integrity and consumer-centric purpose provides confidence in certification. Thereof we list registrars and certification - registration bodies which we have verified matters of ethics with integrity and which may contribute to the purpose and validity of your certificate of registration. The validity of your certificate, may be questionable if the certification body provides consulting, in-house and admin. E.g. We verify that a Registration Body or Registrar's business units (of a centralized registration body) operations follows practices and that operating criteria is follow as set by International Standards). Also we verify that that these bodies do not provide consulting to the same organization under which registration is granted, as this is construe as conflict of interest and defies the purpose of namely accredited certification. There is no specific preference in the order that the list of registrars and certification - registration bodies are shown:
From time-to-time we receive inquiries requesting inclusion to our list, as well we receive complaints, and provided that meets the requirements set-forth above, for which we update this portal frequently. Since we provide this service as a courtesy (no fees) and with objectivity, we will verify references on the basis of the criterion at top of page and within a time that logistically allow us to verify. We reserve the right to inclusion and we may verify with companies others than those presented for verification. We carry our role as objectively as the information (and complaints) we receive allows. Asteriks (*) means that there may be consulting unit of this organizations or the organization itselg might have provided consulting to grant certification. For inclusion, the listing of Registrars / Certification - Registration Bodies may operate under an accreditation protocol, while not imperative per comments of the International Organization for Standardization. We believe that is the legal obligations and fulfillment of requirements the true purpose in the role of government to protect its citizens and that management systems may be a tool in helping to achieve this role, but when it is for mere business purpose the whole notion crumbles. Please contact us through e-mail or phone for additional information. Thereof we may exclude certification or accreditation bodies that have or conduct unethical practices. Exclusion of accreditation may occur when evidence demonstrates continuous pattern of unethical practices or dubious purpose.
